Games on Our Radar: Halloween Week 2026
Four spooky games worth keeping an eye on this Halloween, from supernatural mysteries to psychological horror and classic survival scares.
Halloween is almost here, and there's no shortage of unsettling games to explore. Whether you're interested in a detective mystery, a doomed spaceship or something a little closer to traditional survival horror, there's plenty happening in the indie gaming scene.
For this week's Games on Our Radar, we're looking at four Halloween games for 2026 that caught our attention. Some are arriving on new platforms just in time for Halloween, one is launching this week, and another is already available to play.
These aren't reviews or hands-on impressions. We're highlighting what each game offers, based on official information, and giving you somewhere to start if you're looking for something spooky.
The Séance of Blake Manor — A supernatural mystery reaches consoles

Original release: 27 October 2025 on PC (Windows and Linux).
New console releases: 27 October 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2, with Xbox Game Pass availability announced.
Set in Ireland in 1897, The Séance of Blake Manor places you in the shoes of private investigator Declan Ward, who arrives at a remote hotel to investigate the disappearance of Evelyn Deane.
Unfortunately, this isn't an ordinary missing-person case. The hotel is hosting a gathering of mystics preparing for a grand séance on the eve of Halloween.
You'll interview suspects, gather evidence and piece together the mystery while navigating increasingly supernatural circumstances.
It's an interesting combination of detective work, historical atmosphere and occult storytelling. If you enjoy games that let you uncover a mystery through observation and deduction rather than constant combat, this could be one to investigate.
Developed by Spooky Doorway and published by Raw Fury, the game has been available on Steam since October 2025.
Its upcoming console launches celebrate the first anniversary of its original release, giving a new audience the opportunity to discover the mystery.
Want to try it first? There's a playable demo available on Steam, alongside the full PC game.

Mouthwashing — Psychological horror aboard a doomed spaceship

Original release: 26 September 2024 on PC.
New console releases: 29 October 2026 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch, including Xbox Game Pass.
Mouthwashing, developed by Wrong Organ and published by Critical Reflex, takes place aboard the Tulpar, a stranded space freighter whose five crew members face a rapidly deteriorating situation.
With supplies running low and tensions mounting, the story explores the events that left the crew stranded and the disturbing relationships between them.
Rather than relying entirely on traditional monsters and jump scares, Mouthwashing uses psychological horror, uncomfortable themes and a fractured narrative to build its atmosphere.
The game originally launched on Steam in September 2024, so this isn't a brand-new horror release. Instead, its arrival on consoles this Halloween gives players who missed the PC version another opportunity to experience it.
There's also a timely reason for PC players to take a look. At the time of checking on 26 October, Steam was advertising a 40% discount, with the offer scheduled to end on 3 November. Prices and promotions may vary by region.
Just don't expect a cheerful journey through space.

Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy — Classic survival horror returns

Release: 27 October 2026 on PC, with Steam and Epic Games Store listings confirmed.
If you prefer survival horror with relentless pursuers, unsettling environments and plenty of reasons to hide, Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy might be worth watching.
Developed by Stormind Games, this concluding chapter of the Remothered trilogy follows Susan as she searches for answers surrounding her missing daughter.
The investigation leads to a decaying residence in Sicily, where dangerous pursuers, disturbing family secrets and supernatural abilities complicate the search.
The developers describe a mixture of stealth, exploration, environmental puzzles and psychological horror, with abilities involving memories, mirrors and moths.
The full game is scheduled to launch on 27 October, but there's already an opportunity to experience part of it.
A playable demo is available on Steam, offering a first look at the game's environments, atmosphere and gameplay systems before release.
The Epic Games Store also lists the game for 27 October, giving PC players another purchasing option when it launches.

Silver Pines — Survival horror with a Metroidvania twist

Released: 8 October 2026 on PC and consoles.
Not every Halloween recommendation needs to be a brand-new release.
Silver Pines, from developer Wych Elm and publisher Team17, combines classic survival-horror mechanics with the exploration and interconnected environments of a Metroidvania.
You play private investigator Red Walker, who travels to the mysterious town of Silver Pines while searching for missing musician Eddie Velvet.
What follows involves abandoned locations, puzzles, limited resources and increasingly dangerous encounters.
The combination of side-scrolling exploration, survival-horror tension and a noir-inspired mystery makes this an interesting alternative for players who want something beyond traditional first-person horror.
Unlike the other upcoming releases in this round-up, Silver Pines is already available to play.
It launched on 8 October for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, alongside PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
With its mixture of combat, exploration and limited resources, it could be worth investigating if you're after something that blends classic survival-horror ideas with a different style of progression.

Which game is on your radar this Halloween?
That's four very different approaches to horror: supernatural detective work, psychological storytelling, traditional survival scares and exploration-driven mystery.
What makes this selection interesting is that none of these games need to follow the same formula to create an unsettling atmosphere.
There's also a good mixture of ways to discover them. The Séance of Blake Manor and Remothered: Red Nun's Legacy has Steam demos available, Mouthwashing is expanding to consoles, and Silver Pines is already out across multiple platforms.
And that's exactly what we want from Games on Our Radar — a chance to discover titles you might otherwise have missed, without pretending we've played everything ourselves.
Have you tried any of these games, or is there another spooky indie title we should be looking at?
Let us know what you're planning to play this Halloween.
Games on Our Radar is The Pixel Hangout's discovery series highlighting interesting games, upcoming releases and projects worth following.
