The Pixel Hangout Is Heading to FORMAT 2026 & Kuoda Connect!
It's event week!
This week, ChronoPixelGaming and PixelGamingMama will be heading to Liverpool to attend FORMAT 2026 as content creators, representing The Pixel Hangout and getting involved in what promises to be a packed week of gaming, creators, community and networking.
With FORMAT, the Kuoda VIP Lounge and Kuoda Connect all on the agenda, there's plenty to look forward to — and plenty for us to bring back to The Pixel Hangout afterwards.
We're Heading to FORMAT
Both ChronoPixelGaming and PixelGamingMama will be attending FORMAT 2026 at BOXPARK Liverpool as content creators.
FORMAT brings together gaming, esports, creators, live entertainment and the wider gaming community, making it exactly the sort of event we want to cover as The Pixel Hangout continues to grow.
We'll be exploring the event, meeting other creators and members of the gaming industry, checking out what's happening throughout the venue and, of course, capturing some of the experience along the way.
For The Pixel Hangout, it's also a great opportunity to take our coverage beyond the games we're playing at home and start bringing you more from the events and communities surrounding gaming.
PixelGamingMama Heads to the Kuoda VIP Lounge
Returning to the Kuoda VIP Lounge — But This Time It's Different
The Kuoda VIP Lounge isn't completely new territory for us.
We've been fortunate enough to attend the lounge for the past two years, joining creator friends as their plus-ones in 2024 and 2025. Both visits gave us the chance to experience the atmosphere, meet creators and spend time with people from across the gaming community.
But 2026 feels a little different.
This year, PixelGamingMama has received her own invitation to attend the Kuoda VIP Lounge as a content creator, with ChronoPixelGaming joining her as her plus-one.
After attending alongside friends for the previous two years, returning with her own creator invitation feels like a fantastic milestone in PixelGamingMama's journey — and makes this year's visit particularly special for both of us.
2024 → 2025 → 2026... to be continued.
2024 — Our first visit to the Kuoda VIP Lounge as plus-ones.
2025 — Back again, once again attending alongside our creator friends.
2026 — PixelGamingMama returns with her own creator invitation. The next photo is still to come…
And We're Going to Kuoda Connect
FORMAT isn't the only event on the agenda.
PixelGamingMama has also been invited to Kuoda Connect, which is a separate event from FORMAT, with ChronoPixelGaming attending alongside her.
Kuoda Connect gives us another chance to meet creators and people from across the gaming and content-creation space, build new relationships and simply spend some time with the wider community.
With both FORMAT and Kuoda Connect happening during the week, we're expecting to come away with plenty to talk about.
This Isn't Our FORMAT or Kuoda Connect Review
Not yet, anyway!
This article is our preview before we head out. This isn't our FORMAT or Kuoda Connect review — that comes afterwards.
Once we've actually experienced both events, we'll be putting together proper coverage here on The Pixel Hangout.
We'll be talking about what we saw, what stood out, our experience of FORMAT, Kuoda Connect and the Kuoda VIP Lounge, the people we met and, most importantly, what we genuinely thought.
We'll also be sharing photos and updates across our social channels during the events, so there should be plenty more to come.
